What We Do
Established in the year 2002 in Delhi NCR’s Faridabad area, Gyandeep Vidyalaya is an eminent non-profit educational institution that aims to provide a promising future to the underprivileged children from ragpicker families and slum areas, especially girl children.
- Teach and train girl children and women from slum areas
- Free education (from nursery to class 8); distribution of free uniforms, books, stationery, and bags
- Every day, students are served a nutritious and tasty midday meal that is free of cost
- Devotees and volunteers celebrate their birthdays and anniversaries by contributing towards the meals for the school’s children

Gyandeep Vidyalaya must not leave any stone unturned to ensure that. blessings to all children studying there, and best wishes to their families for sending them to the school.
All the staff and volunteers at Gyandeep Vidyalaya should motivate and encourage nearby slum families to send their children and women to school and vocational training centres.

If anything can transform the lives of girl children living in slum areas, it is education and training. I am happy to see how Vishwa Jagriti Mission is promoting education and training for needy children, especially girl children, through Gyandeep Vidyalaya. Let’s make sure that there is no dearth of free uniforms, books, stationery, and bags for the children studying there and give special attention to health facilities and mid-day meals for these children.

Focus on Education and Skill Development of Girl Children
Currently, Gyandeep Vidyalaya, Faridabad, is teaching about 500 girls and 250 boys, from nursery to class 8. Students get free education here, and they also receive free uniforms, midday meals, books, stationery items, school bags, etc., including free healthcare facilities. Students from 6th to 8th grades get computer education as well. Sixteen dedicated and efficient teachers teach students.
Children and parents are also sensitised regarding the drawbacks of child marriage and why girl children should focus on education and skill development instead for a better tomorrow.

VJM’s Efforts toward Kanya Atmanirbhar Abhiyan
A skill development and training centre for girls and women, VJM’s Kaushal Vikas Kendra, Faridabad, is helping candidates in every possible way. Till now, we have assisted 150 girls in starting work of their choice after training. We have a 99% retention rate.
At our centre, we take all efforts to increase enrolment of students. We do surveys, make door-to-door visits, distribute pamphlets, visit schools and colleges, etc. for the purpose. We also make parents understand how these skill courses will empower them and their wards and make them and their wards financially independent.
Our team surveys the neighbourhood areas to find out where all the girls are not going to school or are sitting idle at home. Our team runs campaigns to recruit girls for training.
